It has been kind of a whorl wind last 2 weeks...
Finished out the winter quarter (yeah!) with another 4.0 (yeah! Tho I'm sadly coming to expect it from myself rather than appreciate it so much). One more quarter -- well, of classes anyway -- to go (yeah!).

The city that never sleeps -- and I'm trying to fit into the city. Truly I am exhausted and will wax poetic on Columbia and the Big Apple at some point when I think I can better put cohearant sentences together. But I am here, and I like it, and I think the interview(s) went well enough.

Got an invite to Columbia (the university) for an interview/show-case weekend in February. It's not an official acceptance, but definitely as close to the cut as you can get I think. The prof I talked to tonight (or well last night, but with work I've not been to bed yet) said they invite the top ~10% of applicants to this little...he called it a ( Read more... )

Well folks, the major life changing decision has been made. In the whorl-wind of travel over the last few weeks, I've actually managed to keep my head about me (I hope). I suppose it was inevitable...I couldn't possibly get into all the grad schools I've applied to. Just wish it wasn't my first choice.

1 down, 3 mid-way (at least I have interviews) and 5 to go....

I'm allowed to dwelling for a while before moving on, right?
